India’s Top 5 Cars To Receive Updates In 2023

The year 2023 is set to bring some exciting updates to India’s top five cars. These cars are the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, the Hyundai Creta, the Kia Seltos, the Mahindra XUV700, and the Tata Harrier. From minor cosmetic changes to major engine upgrades and new features, these updates are expected to enhance the overall performance and appearance of these cars.

The Honda City facelift is expected to arrive in March 2023 with a few changes inside and out, while the engine setup will remain the same. It is expected to feature a bigger black grille, updated bumper and fog lamp assembly, massive air dams, newly-designed alloy wheels and revised taillamps. Inside, it might have wireless charger and ventilated seats. The new Honda City facelift will be available with the same 121bhp, 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol and 1.5L Atkinson Cycle petrol hybrid engines.

Next Generation Hyundai Verna

The next-generation Hyundai Verna, set to arrive in 2023, will feature a new parametric jewel design grille, tweaked bumper, a tapered roof with fastback-like styling and split taillamps. The major update will come in the form of an ADAS (advanced driver assistance system) suite along with the dual-screen display – one for infotainment system and one for instrument cluster. It will also come with wireless smartphone connectivity. The sedan will use the existing 1.5L petrol and 1.4L turbo petrol engines.

Kia Seltos Facelift

The 2023 Kia Seltos facelift, which is already on sale in global markets, is expected to hit Indian roads in the second quarter of the year. The updated model will come with radar-based driver assistance systems and a feature list that includes a 10.25-inch instrument and infotainment system with wireless smartphone connectivity, an electronic parking brake, a panoramic sunroof and automatic AC with rear AC vents. No changes are expected to be made to its engine setup, meaning it will continue to come with the 1.5L turbo petrol and 1.4L turbo petrol engines.

Tata Harrier/ Safari Facelift

Tata’s popular Harrier and Safari SUVs are also set to receive significant updates sometime in 2023. The new models showcased in the Harrier and Safari Red Black Editions at the Auto Expo 2023 will feature Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) with features such as lane keep assist, autonomous emergency brake, forward collision alert and traffic sign recognition. Additional features such as a bigger and updated 10.25-inch infotainment system, a new digital instrument cluster, adjustable driver’s seat with memory functions, a 360-degree camera and ambient lighting will also be on offer. The 2023 Tata Harrier and Safari facelifts will come with the existing 170bhp, 2.0L turbo diesel engine.

All in all, these updates are sure to have a significant impact on the Indian automotive market, making these cars even more appealing to consumers.
